AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic Inundated With Death Threats After Heated Serie A Win

AC MilanChristian Pulisic received a torrent of threats on social media after his team earned a controversial 1-0 victory over straight on Friday.

Disgruntled fans were especially upset with Pulisic as he was involved in altercations with three Lazio players who were sent off with red cards in the final minutes of regulation time.

Much of the drama on the field occurred when Pulisic pushed Luca Pellegrini, resulting in the Lazio defender pushing the AC Milan midfielder to the ground. Pellegrini was sent off in the 67th minute.

Another incident occurred with Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, who pushed Pulisic after the American grabbed him. Lazio finished the match with eight players as Adam Marusic also received a red card during injury time.

Pulisic, a USMNT standout, posted on Instagram after the game, and the post was subsequently inundated with death threats as a result of what happened during Friday's game.
