Chennai December 26: Tamil filmDoers of the recently released movie "Anandham Vilayaadum Veedu ”have filed a complaint with the police against Telegram groups, websites and torrent sites for illegally downloading the film. In his police report, producer P.Ranganathan claimed that the film starring Gowtham Karthik Y Cheran was released on December 24, 2007.
According to the producer, many websites, Telegram groups and torrent sites had illegally uploaded their content after the release of the film.
The producer stated that "we are the legal owners of the digital rights" and we had not sold them to anyone.
The producer stated that "our film has been well received by our family audience and illegal activities have hurt our box office collection." He also noted that these activities would affect not only him personally as a producer, but everyone who worked hard to make the film, and it would also affect millions of people in the industry.
He said, "The crew and cast along with me are asking for help to end this Piracy threaten and save our lives. "
