Ashok Leylandto Hinduja Group Flagship, on Tuesday, February 20, held the groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming integrated commercial vehicle plant on Kanpur Road in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The company will invest an estimated 1,000 crores in the development of this facility in the coming years.
The greenfield manufacturing facility will extend across a planned area 70 acres of land parcel and will focus on producing electric buses along with other vehicles powered by alternative fuels. This will be the most modern and ecological factory in the world and will have a generating capacity of 2,500 vehicles per year.

The upcoming facility will not only cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles but will also play a vital role in the all-round development of the region.
