Nov 16 (Reuters) - Bitcoin fell 4.94% to $36,007 at 2117 GMT on Thursday, losing $1,870 from its previous close.
Bitcoin, the world's largest and best-known cryptocurrency, is down 5.2% from a year's high of $37,978 on Nov. 9.
Ether, the currency linked to the Ethereum blockchain network, fell 4.86% to $1,959.8 on Thursday, losing $100.2 from its previous close.
