BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Now there's another way to donate to the Buffalo Museum of History. The Museum is accepting donations of cryptocurrency, which is digital money that uses encryption technology to keep it safe.
Donors can select Bitcoin, Ethereum or USD Coin to make their tax deductible crypto donation to the Museum.
"This is another way that we are using technology for good," said the museum's executive director, Melissa Brown. "We know that more and more people are interested in supporting nonprofits through donating cryptocurrencies and we are pleased to provide this convenient option."
The museum is partnering with Every.org To do this, it automatically converts the crypto into US dollars.
