King Charles III and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, have been victims of the same abuse that was partly to blame for Harry and Meghan leaving the royal family, an expert has said.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who say they have been subjected to a torrent of abuse, have been advised to take lessons and patience from Camilla and Charles, who suffered far more than Harry and Meghan but did not betray their family.
Richard Palmer explained at this week's Royal Round Up how people have attacked and criticized Camilla and Charles ever since their relationship went public.
"I think this needs to be called out, social media companies need to do more about it, they need to end anonymity to begin with. This is where I think the Sussexes were right, they got Christopher Bouzy to do it." Charles and Camilla, according to the expert, do not usually pay attention to the press coverage that is given to them, although they will give them press clippings.
