March 2 marks the return of hardcore to the Sunshine Coast.
Starting at 6pm at The Presynct, Nambour, chaotic uprising is set to bring together six bands from across Australia's east coast for a night of metallic mayhem. Headlining the event are Newcastle's next bad boys, Down gripfollowed by heavyweights Southport and Gold Coast in mowing side and Consequence. Also on the bill are the Sunny Coast's best and heaviest bands. Rimmy Fat and torrent of flesh plus the heaviest legends of Nambour Fifth column.
Chaotic Uprising marks the Sunshine Coast's first local event organized by Rimmy Fat in alliance with Namcore. Rimmy Grasa is a Sunshine Coast based hardcore band working with the new Namcore local store in Nambour. One of the main goals of the mini-festival is to tap into the local music scene and help build the Sunshine Coast metal community. In addition to aiming to revitalize and inspire, Chaotic Uprising is also welcome for all alternative music lovers. The intimate venue will take live chaos to a new level.
