Nigeria has become a prominent player in the global cryptocurrency landscape, firmly establishing itself as one of the leading crypto countries globally, according to a recent report by Chain analysis.
In sub-Saharan Africa, crypto transactions accounted for a modest 2.3% of global volume between July 2022 and June 2023, reaching $117.1 billion. While this percentage seems relatively small on a global scale, a closer analysis reveals that there is rapid adoption of cryptocurrencies in the region.
