Coinbase launches zero trading fee subscription service


The Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange is ready to launch its subscription service called "Coinbase One" in 35 countries. Initially, only customers in the UK, Germany and Ireland will have access to Coinbase One. According to May 18 advertisement, Coinbase One aims to provide features such as fee-free trading, amplified staking rewards, and exclusive benefits through partnerships with industry players like Messari and CoinTracker for a monthly fee of $29.99. In addition, Coinbase plans to collaborate with other partners, such as Alto IRA (Individual Retirement Account), Blockworks' Permissionless, and Lemonade, to provide additional benefits to its members.

Coinbase also shared that its new subscription service will give members access to a dedicated 24/7 support team whereby members can request assistance over the phone and receive immediate help for any technical issues with the account they can find. In addition, the latest subscription service will also offer US members the convenience of a pre-filled Tax Form 8949, simplifying the crypto tax filing process by automatically arranging your transactions.
