Coinbase to Add Polygon & Bitcoin Perpetual Futures on Dec 7

Leading US cryptocurrency platform Coinbase International Exchange will expand its trading tools by introducing perpetual futures contracts for Polygon (MATIC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) on December 7, 2023.

This move follows the addition of ADA, LINK, DOGE, and XLM perpetual futures contracts, which meet the growing demand for various cryptocurrency trading options.

Despite a legal clash with the SEC, Coinbase's strategic expansions have boosted its native cryptocurrency, COIN, from $71.88 to $128.27 in November, an increase of 78%. The current trading price of COIN is $133.76, up 7.25% in 24 hours.

Coinbase's commitment to innovation and consumer satisfaction is evident through its initiative to introduce perpetual futures contracts, allowing traders to speculate on changes in cryptocurrency prices without owning the assets.

This step is anticipated to improve market liquidity and trading volume, solidifying Coinbase's position in the crypto industry.
