New Delhi: Amidst the different theories circulating around the future of cryptocurrencies in India, the global market has seen a nearly 6.50 percent drop in total market capitalization. The cryptocurrency market undergoes a huge sell-off during the midnight trading session. Bitcoin continued to fall by more than 15% and Etheruem followed BTC's lead.
Altcoins like Cardano and Ripple's XRP also plummeted by more than 20%. The game token and meta coins are the most affected coins, as Sandbox, AVAX, Decentraland and others have suffered losses of more than 30%.
The market saw some small recovery attempts, but the question remains how deep it can go.
