Crypto Price Today Live: Bitcoin rises above $29,000; Cardano, Polkadot surge up to 3%

New Delhi: The cryptocurrency markets were mostly higher on Thursday. Bitcoin (BTC) rose 2.31% to $29,035, while Ethereum (ETH) was just below the $1,900 level. BTC volume in the last 24 hours stood at approximately $35.15 billion, increasing 84.70% in the last 24 hours.

“Concerns over First Republic Bank continued, causing Bitcoin to rally to the US$29,000 range. Bitcoin had rallied from a low of US$27,217 the previous day, hitting a one-week high and recouping losses suffered during that time. The support level for Bitcoin is currently at $28,000, with resistance at $29,400," said Edul Patel, co-founder and CEO of Mudrex.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization was trading higher at around $1.20 trillion, up 1.18% in the last 24 hours.

Total volume in DeFi is currently 5.2 billion, or 7.33% of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market. The volume of all stablecoins is now at $64.06 billion, which is 90.27% of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market.

The market capitalization of Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, was around $557 billion. Bitcoin dominance is currently at 46.80%, up 0.38% over the day, according to CoinMarketCap.

“Bitcoin intraday volatility points to market manipulation on hourly time frames. However, it continues to be range-bound daily with $30,000 as the key resistance level to break,” said Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus Crypto Platform.

Rajagopal Menon, Vice President of WazirX, said: "The main market oscillators point to neutral sentiment. The Relative Strength Index (14), one of the key indicators, stands at 54, with a neutral outlook. Stochastic %K (14, 3, 3) and the average directional index (14) is at 39 and 27, respectively, further indicating a neutral market."

"The MACD level (12, 26) at 117 indicates a sell. The Fast Stochastic RSI (3, 3, 14, 14) is at 34 with a neutral indicator, while the Williams percentage range (14) at −51 indicates neutral, added Meno.
