Crypto prices today: Bitcoin above the $24,000 mark, Solana and Shiba Inu show price gains

Most of the major cryptocurrencies witnessed mixed trends on the first day of the week. Bitcoin, the world's largest and most popular crypto, is down 0.85 percent in the last 24 hours and is trading at $24,496.36 as of this writing (1030 IST). Ethereum, its closest rival, is down 0.50 percent and is currently trading at $1,689.25.

Other top crypto coins trading with cuts on Feb. 20 included XRP, Polygon, Litecoin, Toncoin, and Cosmos, which declined 0.58%, 1.10%, 1.84%, 0.32%, and 2.23%. , respectively. In contrast, Solana registered a growth of 12.54 percent in the value of the previous day. Additionally, Polkadot, Avalanche, Uniswap, Chainlink, and Filecoin posted gains today.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market capitalization decreased by 0.23% to $1.12 trillion since the last 24 hours. However, the total volume of the crypto market stood at $63.07 billion, having witnessed a 51.96 percent increase over the past day.

Today's top gainer was Stacks, who shot up 75.17 percent. Others in the green zone are Conflux, Neo, and VeChain, up 36.02%, 22.77%, and 10.37%, respectively. On the other hand, Blur and Render Token were among the top losers, declining 6.03 percent and 5.72 percent, respectively.
