Balancer, an Ethereum-based decentralized financial protocol, has confirmed that its user interface is currently “under attack.”
The platform notified its community on September 19 at 11:49 pm UTC, urging users not to interact with the Balancer protocol until further notice.

Balancer said the details of the attack are under investigation. The company has not confirmed whether user funds are safe at this time.
However, blockchain security companies, including PeckShield and blockchain analyst ZachXBT, estimated that at least $238,000 worth of cryptocurrency has been stolen.

This is the second Balancer robbery in a month, after warned of a critical vulnerability on August 22, resulting in a $2 million exploit several days later.
