SINGAPORE - This has been a year of reckoning for the cryptocurrency sector's movers and shakers, from fugitive Do Kwon to disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried and, most recently, former Binance boss Zhao Changpeng.
Among the biggest names in the digital asset market, they will have to face the music in the new year, with sentences for Bankman-Fried for fraud and Zhao for violating anti-money laundering laws, and prosecution for the former director of Terraform Labs .Kwon on the cards.
