A National Guard member returning home after a 10-month deployment was greeted enthusiastically by his four-legged best friend in Nebraska on Thursday, Feb. 22, photos show.
Specialist Jack Vogel, a combat medic, was reunited with his dog, Denver, at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Lincoln on Thursday. Vogel had been deployed to the Horn of Africa since April 2023 with Co A, 2-134th Infantry, Nebraska Army National Guard.
