DOH APPROVES REOPENING OF FOODLAND'S REDFISH POKE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HONOLULU โ The Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) Food Safety Division issued a green placard for Foodland's Redfish Poke and approved its reopening after a follow-up inspection on May 13, 2024 found all violations had been corrected food safety critiques.
Foodland's Redfish Poke, located at 2375 Ala Wai Blvd., was red-signed on May 10, 2024 and closed immediately. A follow-up inspection was conducted on May 13, 2024, which revealed that all violations were resolved.
The food establishment was advised to continue monitoring and maintaining proper drainage.
DOH's Food Safety Division protects and promotes the health of Hawaii residents and visitors through the education of food industry workers and the regulation of food establishments throughout the state. The branch conducts routine health inspections of food establishments where food products are prepared, manufactured, distributed or sold.
