Elden Ring Glitch Makes Torrent Run Off And Abandon Player

Torrent, elden ringThe Spectral Steed will undoubtedly go down in gaming history as one of the greatest mounts a player could ever ride on, along with the Skyrim horse and The Witcher's Roach. And just like the two horses, Torrent has plenty of bugs.

There is already an error turn invisible Torrent and another that Let torrent fly (a very useful glitch, no doubt), but there is now a bug that causes Torrent to detach from the player, never to be seen or heard from again. Or at least, not until you restart the game.

reddit user DogWoofWoof22 revealed the error in his post asking Torrent to "please stay". The bug appears to occur after the player runs to a Lost Grace location and activates it while still on horseback. The player will drop down to activate Lost Grace while Torrent continues to run in the direction he was originally facing.

Apparently this is not a new bug, as another Redditor reported a similar problem that sent his own Torrent running into the side of a cave. Unfortunately, the only solution is to save, exit, and reload the game.

While being Torrentless can be a major handicap for Elden Ring players, not being able to use weapons, shields, or spells is far worse. That's what Elden Ring speedrunner Distortion2 did in his last video where he just used Ash of War, Ground Slam, to take down enemies. This was harder than it sounds, as Ground Slam involves jumping into the air and then hitting the ground with your butt.

Believe it or not, there are very few enemies in the Elden Ring vulnerable to ass-based attacks. Beating a dragon to death was no easy task. Watch the full video hereand then watch Distortion2 beat Elden Ring in less time than it takes to order a burrito.
