Elden Ring Radahn Cheese Strategy: How to Beat Starscourge Radahn Fast and Easy | Attack of the Fanboy

Starscourge Radahn is one of the few boss guardians in elden ring that can really break your morale. He is a monstrous demigod who deals lethal damage with every move and has the most questionable hitboxes in the game. If you thought Margit was badA world of pain awaits you. Anyway, here are some "cheese" strategies to make this legendary fight against Starscourge Radahn much simpler in the Elden Ring.

How to Cheese (or Beat) Starscourge Radahn in Elden Ring

There are three phases to this battle, so be prepared to adapt as they happen. You should also not face this fight until you are at least level 70 or higher..

The first phase is to close the distance between you and the demigod. It will constantly fire deadly bolts at you and rain blades down from the sky, providing constant denial over large areas. The best thing you can do in this scenario is to summon all the NPCs you met. Back at Redmane Castleincluding Wolf and Alexander Iron Fist.

This can be considered cheese because in this case you are summoning multiple NPCs to basically remove the aggro from you so you can get close to Radahn while taking minimal damage. As you inch towards him, don't get on his horse.. It may be faster, but Torrent doesn't have I-frames to dodge oncoming death rays.

Once you've gotten to where you can really hit it, let the summoned NPCs take it from the front while you yell at it from behind. Basically, you'll want to beat Radahn's HP as quickly as possible while your summons stack up the damage. If you hit him hard enough, he'll even be susceptible to being knocked off balance, allowing a critical hit. This second phase can easily go south if your allies fall in combat. Since Radahn has such a high damage output, your allies won't last long.

Then when you get to his final phase, he will start summoning purple kites and riding his funny little horse. This is where you pair it, taking Torrent out for a walk. In this phase, you can re-summon and kill NPC previously. Essentially, they can be aggro once again as you go on attacks of opportunity.

Watch out for his electrically imbued attacks. When his swords start to have purple lightning on them, he will start slashing them against the ground. When he raises his swords again, he will send out waves of deadly lightning. If you are in Torrent, you can jump on that wavhey go in for some attacks.

This is also his most agile phase, so using Torrent is almost mandatory. He can cover the ground of his spinning dive attack, which can be blocked, but will most likely kill you in the process as well.

Summoning NPCs may look like cheese, but this almost seems like a necessary mechanic to simulate something like a raid boss. You're dealing with a giant foe, and in terms of lore, you're joining unlikely forces to take on a demi-god. Of course, his only role is to take damage while you sneakily riddle him from behind.

As for magic users, you can just follow the aforementioned strategies, but safely take him out from afar while dodging any kind of projectiles from his end phase.

elden ring is available now for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S/X, and PC.
