Elon Musk alleges SBF donated over $1B to Democrats: โ€œWhere did it go?โ€

The attempts of the big media to dilute the frauds committed by FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) it did not do well in convincing the crypto community and businessmen. Instead, the disinformation campaign collided with Tesla CEO Elon Muskto position Twitter as "the most accurate source of information."

The world is still not over the shock after witnessing the legal leniency granted to SBF for misappropriation of user funds and suspicious investment practices through the commercial firms Alameda Research and FTX. Will Manidis, CEO of ScienceIO, a healthcare data platform, noted that SBF achieved the "highest ROI exchange ever" by donating $40 million to the right people for getting away with stealing more than $ 10 billion.

On the other hand, Musk alleged that SBF donated more than $1 billion to Democratic candidates, which is much more than the publicly disclosed amount of $40 million. SBF previously accepted to make clandestine donations to the Democratic Party. Musk asked:

โ€œHis actual support for the Democratic election is probably well over a billion dollars. The money went somewhere, so where did it go?

US House Financial Services Committee Chair Maxine Waters, a Democrat, and Ranking Member Patrick McHenry, a Republican, have requested SBF to appear at an investigative hearing scheduled for December 13.

At this request, prominent businessmen, including Polygon CEO Ryan Wyatt, informed Waters that "he is (SBF) a criminal" after being shocked by the leniency shown by those in power towards the fugitive.

The crypto community openly criticizes paid narratives trying to show SBF in a good light. The latest backlash is related to SBF's interviews at the New York Times DealBook Summit and Good Morning America interviews.

Speaking to the media during the 'apology tour', SBF introduced himself as a victim and was applauded at the end. โ€œWatching the SBF interview is like watching the Casey Anthony documentary. They are so mechanical, they are so inauthentic in their delivery. If you feel any emotion, at all, it slows people down. The way it is expressed is a separate subjective matter,โ€ said Twitter user and developer Naom.
