This week, the second largest blockchain and cryptocurrency conference in the world, ETHDenver, will take place at the National Western.
Two of the entrepreneurs in attendance are "Vinny Crypto" and Matt with On Chain Records.
"We make physical discs and you have your NFC chip made by Conlan in there so you can upload your digital content as an artist, musician, whatever type of audio you want on there, so we added the physical digital bridge to your digital physical record," Vinny said. -.
The cryptocurrency and blockchain crowd has its own culture, bold colors and fantasy creatures like unicorns abound at ETHDenver, and while it may look silly on the outside, there is serious business here.
These are the people who work on future technology, which is why Vinny and Matt came. To collaborate and learn.
"Definitely ideas like definitely see who's making love, meet the builders, meet the people who are building it too," Vinny said.
There's a build room to work on and lots of talks and panels, as well as some fun things to blow off steam. Matt and Vinny say that meeting and spending time with like-minded tech professionals helps them grow and form partnerships.
"You're online for as long as you're working with someone, but it takes that extra step, that extra human contact to really help, you know, take your communication to the next level," Vinny said.
It doesn't hurt that it's taking place in a place like Denver with a growing tech industry and a lot to offer.
"Denver, you know, people come from all over the world and I think it's a place to come together IRL (in real life)," Matt said.
