Every Field Upgrade in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer

Most of the loadout features from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are present in the new version of Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer. You can still equip two weapons, one lethal and one tactical, three perks, and one field upgrade.

The perk system has fundamentally changed and vests have been added, but the equipment feature as a whole remains the same. If you're here, you're probably curious about one specific aspect of settings, which is field upgrades. The Field Upgrade system works exactly the same in Modern Warfare 3 as it did in MW2, but the selections you have available in the new game are quite different.

To see the list of complete field upgrades in MW3, check out the guide below.

Currently, there are five field upgrades available in the MW3 beta. There will almost certainly be more in the full version of the game on November 10, but here's what we have so far:

As you can see, there are a couple of field improvements returning from MW2 in the trophy system and ammo box. The other three, Med Box, ACS, and Comm Scrambler, are new field upgrades that will be seen for the first time in MW3.

Perhaps the most intriguing of the list of new field improvements is the ACS. This throwable item can capture an objective point for you, even if you are not on the point. It also hacks nearby enemy teams, which can be quite damaging if an enemy team has gadgets around a bombsite or strongpoint.

It remains to be seen what other field improvements will be included in the full game when it launches on November 10.
