New Zealand's North Island was once again subjected to heavy rains today, "Sunday", triggering landslides, torrents and roadblocks, while the death toll rose to four after one person was confirmed dead.
Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, has been receiving heavy rain since Friday.
The Meteorological Authority warned today and tomorrow of more severe weather conditions and pointed out that heavy rains can cause torrents and flood the streets with water due to the inability of the sewerage network to drain it.
Authorities noted that thousands of properties remain without power, while hundreds of them have had their water cut off.
