Previous Royal Majorca Serbian footballer and former international Dusan Petković has apparently been arrested for alleged cocaine trafficking. according to Sunday World and various Serbian media outlets.
Petkovic is the son of Serbian soccer legend Ilija Petković and capped seven times for the national team.
He has been arrested for his alleged role in smuggling 115 kg of cocaine across Europe. Serbian news outlet Blic reports that he is one of eight arrested as part of a Europol investigation. at a fraudulent concrete mixer company that sold slabs filled with hidden packets of cocaine.
Dusan is being held for his alleged involvement in the group that bought legitimate concrete from a Luxembourg company before replacing it with cocaine-filled fakes from Belgium.
Authorities seized 115kg of cocaine from the blocks in Rotterdam, where they were transported, and in the Belgian city of Arlon, where they were packed with the drug in a hangar.
Blic informs that the group had plans for then send the cocaine-filled concrete to London for distribution in the UK.
