Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F-starrer's movie Freddy premiered on OTT platform Hotstar on Friday. The movie opened to a positive response from the audience, but there is a disappointing update for the fans and supporters of the actors.
Hours after Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F-starrer's film was released on Hotstar, there were reports that the film was leaked online. The movie has been released on various torrent sites like Filmywap, Onlinemoviewatches, 123movies, 133movierulz, Filmyzilla and other hacked versions of the series.
Actor Kartik Aaryan, who plays the lead in Freddy, recently spoke about the film in an interview with PTI. He said: "Freddy has taught me a lot. For the first time, I adapted a method to understand the character. I was actually living life as Freddy. I learned a lot of methods on this film, which was not my way of doing things." .
He then talked about his character, stating, "It was very exhausting playing Freddy. I was also behaving like Freddy in my real life. In fact, I became lonely and introverted. I had a 'Freddy playlist' with jazz music. We were also exploring Freddy while creating him."
The plot centers on the shy and clumsy dentist Dr. Freddy Ginwala, who believes he has discovered his soul mate in Kainaaz Irani, one of his patients. However, Freddy is determined to get revenge after she dumps him in favor of someone else.
