Freshfields advises on Macquarie Asset Management’s investment in a leading sustainable aviation fuels platform

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer ('Freshfields') is advising Macquarie Asset Management on an initial investment of up to €175 million in SkyNRG. The transaction was led by Macquarie Asset Management's specialist green investment team. The investment is expected to support SkyNRG in its next phase of growth and help achieve its ambitious goal of becoming a major producer of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) through the development and operation of SAF production facilities.

The Freshfields team was led by partner Saloua Ouchan from Amsterdam along with principal consultant Fedor Teselkin from London, senior associates Jonathan Carver and Marius Weyers and associates Caroline Leopold, Nikita Polkovnikov and Noah Beukeboom.
