Galatasaray are reportedly in talks to sign manchester city talent Kayky on loan, with the Turkish giants led by former Pep Guardiola assistant Domenec Torrent.

According to FanaticTalks between the two clubs for the young Brazilian have already begun, with Galatasaray interested in signing Kayky for the 2022/23 season after joining City's under-23 side in January.

According to the report, Torrent spoke personally to Guardiola about the deal, with the Spanish manager being part of the non-playing staff that led City to a 100-point Premier League finish in 2018.

Torrent has since moved into first-team management, with the manager spending time with New York City FC before moving to Flamengo in Brazil, with the former City figure now manager of Turkish giants Galatasaray.

With the Istanbul-based club sitting 12th in the Turkish Super League, a big summer is needed if Galatasaray are to return to their titanic club status in Turkey, and signing Kayky could be a smart move in the right direction.

The teenager of the city, who was hailed as 'phenomenal' by Gianluca Di Marziohe has spent his time in Manchester learning the rules of English football, but a loan to Turkey could be ideal for Kayky's development, especially with one of Guardiola's former assistants in Torrent.

Learning Guardiola's style of play takes a lot of time and training, but for Kayky, moving to Galatasaray under Torrent's coaching could be an ideal middle ground for the youngster.

In fact, Kayky requires first-team minutes to continue his development, and playing for a big European club like Galatasaray could be perfect for the teenager, who could become City's next South American star.
