The Turkish giants have just changed managers, with icon Fatih Terim replacing former City assistant manager Domenec Torrent.
Nationality says the city manager Pep Guardiola he was involved in the move, offering his recommendation to Gala about hiring Torrent.
Guardiola spoke to Gala president Burak Elmas during negotiations and agreed to leave the door open to place City players on loan with the Istanbul powerhouse to help Torrent.
City would be willing to send players to Gala this month, although loan moves are more likely to be made during next summer.
