Dan Heng's Playstyle, Abilities, and Passives
Dan Heng is a Hunting character, which means he specializes in dealing damage to single targets. All of his abilities revolve around dealing damage, and he has very little use outside of the very specific debuff he can apply.
Cloudlancer Art: Torrent is Dan Heng's basic ability. Deals good damage, and if it scores a critical hit, reduces the target's SPD by a small amount. This debuff comes into play when Dan Heng's ultimate is used, ethereal dream, which deals much more damage against slowed targets. Additionally, whenever it is targeted by an ally's ability, range superiority active, passively giving him an extra Wind RES PEN and further increasing its damage. These form the worst part of Dan Heng's playstyle, encouraging players to build as many offensive stats on him as possible.

It is also worth mentioning that his Technical ability, split spearhead, gives you 40% more damage for three turns at the start of combat. Recommended Cones of Light and Relics for Dan Heng
Dan Heng greatly benefits from cones of light and relics that increase his CRIT rating and attack damage.
only silence remains it's an excellent cone of light for boss fights. Gives users a passive damage boost along with a CRIT rate bonus whenever there are less than two enemies on the field. For general play against groups of enemies, thrown arrow it's a decent option for snowballing.
As for the relics, the Twilight Line Eagle The set is good for increasing your damage output and the frequency of your turns. Alternatively, players can continue to use Wild Wheat Musketeer for raw damage bonuses. For substatistics, prioritize CRIT rate, CRITICAL DAMAGE, ATKand Wind DMG.
The players who are lucky enough to get eidolon 4 on Dan Heng will be able to enjoy an effect that advances his next action by 100% after scoring a kill with his ult, meaning he can act more often for more damage potential. This can drastically increase the value of certain Cones of Lightespecially the ones with activation requirements on kill.
