A DISABLED mother was evicted from her 16-year-old home after "torrents" of sewage began to flood from the bathroom and sink while she was in the shower.
Becky Blunden claims that she has been living in a carry bag since November 28 after dirty water gushed out of the drains and left ankle deep in excrement on the floor.
The 44-year-old man from Buxton in Derbyshire, she was forced into a hotel, and says that her beloved home has become the "shit hole of hell".
She cried when she told Sun Online: "I was standing in my bathroom taking a shower and I thought, 'Why isn't the water draining?'
"Then I heard a great gurgling sound from the sink. The sink suddenly filled with excrement.
"The toilet bubbled and the bathtub also filled with excrement."
She said the housing association responsible for the department has not yet replaced the baseboards or doors, which have swelled to twice their size as a result of the tide.
"They have refused to replace the bathroom or toilet," he said.
"The company is called Great Places, which is ironic. It's more like a hell hole."
THE HORROR OF THE MOTHER WITH DISABILITIES
Since then, the housing association has offered him two properties to live in, but said neither was suitable.
House managers say that his house has now been thoroughly cleaned and that he can safely begin living there again.
However, Becky said: "I have been literally homeless as a result of this.
"One of the properties that I was offered was next to someone who is known to be problematic, and the second is not suitable for a disabled person.
โBut I can't go home either. Sewage from neighbors' floors has seeped into the walls and floors.
"There was two inches of human waste there.
'TWO INCHES OF WASTE'
"The only thing that was replaced is the bathroom panel, but no one cleaned behind it first.
"The excrement found its way under the kitchen cabinets.
"It just ruined my house."
And she says she feels abandoned by Great Places, a claim that has been denied by the company.
"Nobody wants to help me at all," he said.
"There is a splatter of human waste on a painting I have hanging on the wall.
It's like an ass from hell
"Bacteria are everywhere. I just don't know what to do."
A Great Places spokesperson says the baseboards in the kitchen and hallway have been "thoroughly cleaned" but will be completely replaced after Becky's request.
The toilet and bathroom don't need to be replaced as they were cleaned, and the cavity under the bathroom was also cleaned before replacing the panel, he said.
The cleaners went through the kitchen cabinets and found no evidence of sewage leaking, he added.
Simon Robinson, neighborhood director for the housing association, said: "We are sorry that Ms. Blunden has had to temporarily abandon her property due to a collapsed drain and the distress this has caused."
โAs a responsible owner, our goal is to resolve issues quickly. After fixing the drain, we performed a thorough cleaning of the property that was inspected and approved by the local council.
โWe organized alternative accommodation and provided Ms. Blunden with food and clothing and continued to provide support until she was able to return home.
"We understand that Ms. Blunden remains unhappy with the situation and we are working with her to find solutions."
