Instagram has taken action against a troll who sent a series of vile messages to Lillie Haynes of Love Island, by disabling her account.
Thursday, Southern shields reality star Lillie revealed they had told him to commit suicide by an Instagram user who filled his inbox with a torrent of abuse.
The 22-year-old shared the messages on her Instagram story, with one of them saying, "You're nothing but a toxic piece of shit with shitty eyebrows and a shitty personality and you're better off dead."
In an equally vile tone, another said, "Absolute ugly bitch, you have nothing going for you."

Then, the Instagram user told him to 'watch his back', before writing: "Kill yourself now."
Lillie issued a defiant response to the troll, telling them that threatening someone you've never met leaves me speechless. "
Now I am in contact with Instagram ChronicleLive to confirm that the controller's account has been deactivated.
They told us, "Abusing and threatening others is unacceptable, and we don't want it on Instagram. We understand how distressing it must have been for Lillie to receive these messages, and we have disabled the account that sent them for breaking our rules.
"We encourage anyone experiencing DM like this to report them so that we can take action and use the features we have developed to help protect people from abuse.
"These include Limits, which hides comments and direct messages during unwanted attention spikes, and Hidden Words, which allows you to filter abusive words, phrases, and emojis from your comments and direct messages, so you never have to see them."
Lillie was just in Island of love for five days, but it had a lasting impact in a short time.
Having approached eventual winner Liam Reardon at Casa Amor, only for him to return alone to the main villa, Lillie dropped the beans on them by kissing and sharing a bed with her now-girlfriend Millie, sending shockwaves through the villa.
