Kaytranada, Jessie Ware and Vince Staples among first names for Sónar Barcelona 2024

In Kaytrana, Jessie Ware and vince staples are among the first set of names announced for next year's edition of Sónar Barcelona.

The music festival, known for highlighting dance culture and electronic music, will take place from Thursday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15, 2024, and tickets are on sale now. here.

Other names confirmed for the festival include Charlotte de Witte, who will bring her show 'Overdrive' to the venue, floating pointsBen Böhmer live, Casidead, Mary Davidson and Folamour.

The festival was founded in Barcelona in 1994 and has since had spin-off versions in cities around the world, including Buenos Aires, Hong Kong and Reykjavik. The 2024 edition will be the 31st edition of Sónar.

In addition to the musical part of the festival, the simultaneous event Sónar+D will take place. The festival says this will be an “international gathering of art, science and digital culture,” which will include “talks, demonstrations, workshops, exhibitions and more.”

Haitian-Canadian producer Kaytranada released the album 'Kaytraminé' in May this year in collaboration with American rapper Aminé. English disco/R&B singer Jessie Ware released her fifth studio album 'That! It feels good!' in April.
