The rock band, which has the bassist. Keanu Reevesguitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose and drummer Rob Mailhouse announced the dates for their upcoming Summer Vacation Tour 2024 on June 5.
"We are excited to announce a new North American tour in August and September," reads a post on the trio's social media page.

The tour, which began Aug. 8 at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis, will make stops throughout the United States and Canada before concluding Sept. 21 at Harrah's Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino in Maricopa, Arizona.
"We're having the best time here on the road interacting with fans at these shows, we wanted to keep it that way," the band said in a statement about the tour. "For this upcoming US performance starting in August, we'll also plan to try out some new songs. We hope to see you there!"
Tickets will first be available through a pre-sale on June 5 at noon local time, before general sale begins on June 7 at 10 a.m. local time.
After a 20-year hiatus, Dogstar returned to the stage for the first time last May at the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, California. The band's new album, Somewhere between the power lines and the palm treesIt is now available.
"When we got together to try to write some songs, we never knew what an incredible journey we were starting," the band said in a statement.
"The way this record was created was magical for us," the trio continued. "Fun, passion and friendship shine through in these recordings and we hope the range of emotions connect and resonate with everyone as they do with us."

Dogstar formed in the mid-90s. The band's first EP. four cheeses was released in 1996 and followed by two albums, 1996 Our little visionary and 2000 Happy endingas well as a single cover of Mr. Big's "Shine" in 2004.
During Dogstar's early career, the band appeared in films such as the 1999 film. me and will and 2005 Ellie Parker. They also opened for David Bowie and Bon Jovi toured and headlined with then-upcoming opening acts Rancid and Weezer.
