ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) โ The Junior League of Roanoke Valley (JLRV) kicks off the 2023 holiday shopping season with its annual Stock Exchange fundraiser at the Berglund Center from Friday, November 10 to Sunday, November 12.
The Stocked Market begins with a coffee preview on Friday, November 10, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The VIP shopping event will include coffee and breakfast, early access for merchants, a goodie bag, a raffle and exclusive presentations. Coffee preview tickets are $20 and are only available online in advance.
General admission for Friday's event will begin at 11:00 am and close at 6:00 pm Stocked Market visitors can expect a wide variety of shopping and entertainment options at the Berglund Center this weekend. Vendors will offer a variety of unique gourmet foods, fashion clothing, accessories, art, antiques, home and garden dรฉcor, pet products and more.
The HomeGrown Market returns on Saturday, November 11 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, November 12 from 10:00 am to 5 pm This market is open to artisans who create handmade items, such as fine art. , crafts, homemade delicacies and more. Approximately 25 vendors will display their products in a farmers market-type setting instead of traditional booth space. Additionally, Stocked Market's 100+ vendors will be open for purchasing at this time.
Single-day general admission tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 or $12 at the door for adults. Children under 12 years old enter for free.
Tickets are available at the JLRV office in the Jefferson Center, through any JLRV member, and at the Berglund Center the weekend of the event. Tickets can also be purchased through https://www.jlrv.org/ and printed at home.
All funds raised over the weekend will remain local and will be used to further the mission of the JLRV. Over the past 34 years, more than $4.2 million has been raised to make positive changes during the Stock Market.
