KU to organise seminar on cryptocurrency

The Society for Civic and Social Responsibility at the University of Karachi, in collaboration with Bank Sindh, is organizing a seminar on financial education and cryptocurrencies for students.

The seminar would begin at 10:00 am on March 28 in the KU Auditorium for the Arts. Sindh Bank Chairman and CEO Samad Imran would be the chief guest, while KU Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasira Khatoon would chair the seminar.

The varsity team canceled a student's admission for presenting falsified documents.

According to KU Directorate of Admissions Dr. Saima Akhtar, the supporting admission documents submitted by the candidate were submitted to the Karachi Board of Intermediate Education for verification, after which they were declared false.

She said that a student named Muhammad Minhal Hussain Qazalbash had submitted a doctored report card to gain admission to the Department of Economics.
