Torrent Power announced that Lalit Malikthe company's chief financial officer, resigned effective April 13.
Lalit has resigned for health reasons and will return to Delhi, where his family resides, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Prior to his current role, Malik served as Dabur's CFO for 8 years.
He has an experience of more than 32 years. He has also worked at companies such as Procter & Gamble, The Gillette Company, and Philips India.
The board also approved the appointment of Saurabh Mashruwala as the company's next CFO effective April 14, 2023.
Saurabh has more than 33 years of experience in the fields of corporate finance, treasury, accounting, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and execution, budgeting, corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
He has been with Torrent Power Limited since January 2009, and is currently Vice President of Finance.
