Latest Crypto Prices: Bitcoin Loses 1.36%, Ethereum Dips 0.60%, Doge Slips 1.17%

The global crypto market pulled back on Monday, February 20, 2023, after an uptrend that lasted for several consecutive days, as Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), and other altcoins fell.

The market stood at $1.12 trillion, down 0.62% from the previous day, as of 11am IST on Monday, according to coinmarket.com. Volume increased 51.96% to $63.07 billion in the last 24 hours.

The top-trending crypto was Blur (BLUR), but the day's biggest gainer was Stacks (STX), up 60.07 percent at $0.6812. By contrast, the main loser was Render Token (RNDR), down 7.34 percent at $1.71.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 1.36 percent to $24,443.83. Bitcoin briefly entered the green zone around 7:50 pm IST on February 19. It started falling at 5:50am IST on Monday. Its price dropped from $24,411 to $23,946 in the last 24 hours. However, the trading volume increased from $25.89 billion to $26.67 billion.

Ethereum: ETH price fell 0.60 percent to $1,689.15. ETH price briefly turned green at 7:50pm IST on Sunday after trading in the red for a long time. After three hours, it fell red again. There was a four-hour drop in price from $1,718 to $1,673 as of 9:55pm IST on Sunday. Its trading volume levels increased from $5.96 billion to $6.55 billion.

The lowest price for ETH was $1,659.30. ETH trading volume rose 49.91% to $7.7bn.

Other altcoins

Solana (SOL) rose 11.74 percent to $26.11.

In 24-hour trading, Ripple (XRP) price fell 0.63 percent to $0.3901, even as its trading volume rose 73.20 percent.

Cardano (ADA) was down 0.12 percent at $0.4026. After an increase of 25.19 percent, its 24-hour trading volume reached $381 million.

Binance (BNB) was up 0.15 percent at $316. Its 24-hour trading volume rose 13.47% to $541.9 million.

Shiba Inu was up 1.74 percent at $0.00001349.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 0.86 percent, despite its 24-hour trading volume rising 14.35 percent.

Avalanche (AVAX) was up 1.52 percent at $19.89, with its 24-hour trading volume rising 111 percent.

Aave (AAVE) was trading down 0.73 percent at $89.99.
