Based in Panama City, PanamaDeribit is the largest in the world cryptocurrency options exchange for volume and open interest, with approximately 90% market share in Bitcoin and ether options. The exchange also offers selected futures on cryptocurrencies.
Legal, Compliance and Regulation Director of Deribit david dohman said the exchange considered various trading surveillance systems before operating under the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority in dubai and while Deribit was looking to expand into additional jurisdictions while maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
