It is forecast to be quite muggy and humid, with temperatures forecast to reach 22 ยฐ C despite the humid weather.

But don't be too quick to throw away that bottle of SPF, as it will probably be useful for most of August.

As the rain clears, this will give way to sunnier skies and 24 ยฐ C heat.

Accuweather predicts that we should experience a complete U-turn with highs of 24 ยฐ C on August 11-12.

Following the torrent of rain, Londoners should not despair as it will be followed by the hottest week of the month.

So get ready to see the packed beer gardens and alfresco dining in full effect that week, as August 13 and 14 will also be inviting us at 23C on Friday and 22C on Saturday.

Between August 19 and 22, temperatures will also rise to 23 ยฐ C, so it might be time to get the barbecue out.

The rest of the month will hover between 20 ยฐ C and 22 ยฐ C without a drop of rain in sight, which is what we all want to hear.

So with the prediction of smooth sailing, it's time to get organized on how to best enjoy the beautiful weather ahead.
