Two months after the release of the first single from the new album walk around the moon (expires 05/19/23), crazy eyes continues to perform well on the Billboard charts for weekly radio spins. In fact, crazy eyes is the best charting song by the Dave Matthews Band in the last 10 years, since 2012 when the song Mercy drawn better.

Billboard has a series of music performance charts, released weekly. When it comes to radio play, DMB falls mostly on the Adult Alternative Airplay (AAA) chart (occasionally entering Billboard's Top 100 (Overall), or Hot 100 over the years, again last with Mercy.)

crazy eyes debuted on the AAA list at No. At #23 and steadily climbed the charts every week since. Rising to #11 in week 2, then #8, then #5. And then for the last 4 weeks the song has been a constant at #4. Pretty respectable holding power and as mentioned better than DMB songs that have performed in recent years.

The peak position of #4 is not bad, but it would be a nice cherry if the song could make it to the #1 position. So if you are one of those who still listen to the radio and have a chance to give this band a boost favorite with radio song requests, you may be able to give it a boost. (crazy eyes it is currently being surpassed by The National, Death Cab for Cutie and Depeche Mode. So don't order them too, ha.)

But crazy eyes Maintaining power on the charts raises some interesting questions about when it makes sense to release the album's second single. You would expect timed to help with the upcoming album release, however if crazy eyes it goes well, without particular rush, which can mean more waiting time.

What will be the second single from the album? Well, now that production versions of the album are beginning to surface (as seen in band members' social media posts), we may have a clue. Stickers on the album that highlight "featured songs" list a second song as walk around the moon, which you can probably infer to be the similarly aptly titled second single from the album. Time will tell. until then happy crazy eyes listening. Here's the YouTube link if you want to get back in.
