Man from Mumbra arrested for electricity theft of INR 5 lakh; JC till June 1

It had not stopped stealing electricity despite repeated warnings. Action was taken against it under Section 135 of the Electricity Act 2003. Theft of electricity is an offense under the Act and the torrent company has warned of strict legal action against electricity thieves.
