Med City FC ends season with loss in NISA Independent Cup

MILWAUKEE - Med City FC concluded its amateur soccer season Tuesday night, ending with a 4-1 loss to Milwaukee Torrent in the NISA Independent Cup.

The Mayhem had previously tied the professional team Chicago House Athletic Club in their first Cup game. Milwaukee Torrent belongs to the same National Premier Soccer League as Med City FC.

Mayhem had the first goal of the game, scoring in the fifth minute. It was Lucas Hart who delivered, assisted by Toby Millward.

Med City FC trailed 2-1 at halftime.

"It was not what we wanted," said Med City FC general manager Frank Spaeth. "But it was a better game than the score indicates."

Med City FC finished their season with 11 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. It was 8-4-0 in the NPSL.
