NSW flooding draws disaster declaration โ€“ ABC listen

Parts of New South Wales have been declared natural disaster areas, after the highest rainfall in 30 years.

Thousands of people evacuated their homes and more than 140 people were rescued from floodwaters after Friday night's torrent, which spread north from Sydney to Hawkesbury and south to Shoalhaven. And some communities remain isolated by flooding.
