One teen dead, four seriously hurt, in Louisa County crash | NewsRadio WINA

LOUISA (WINA) โ€“ A teenager was killed and four others were taken to an unidentified hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a fiery crash Friday night in Louisa County. State police say the five involved are 16 and 17 years old.

A police investigation reveals that speed is believed to be a factor when the 2006 Pontiac Torrent was traveling south on Bibb Store Road, approximately half a mile from Goldmine Road, around 10:30 p.m. Friday. The driver lost control, sped off the right side of the road, and the vehicle hit two trees and caught fire. One teenager died at the scene, and the other four were transported... one by medflight.

The driver received hospital citations for reckless driving and driving outside of passenger restrictions.
