Overtime continued his torrential streak of hiring elite high school prospects this week, hooking 2022 elite wing Jaylen Martin into his newly formed pro league, Overtime Elite (OTE).
Martin opted for OTE over Florida, Georgia, Georgetown, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, and Ole Miss.
Martin averaged 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and two assists this summer with NightRydas (Florida) at Nike EYBL.

The 6-foot-6-inch athlete, who hails from Florida State University School (Tallahassee, Florida), had a 4.2 GPA last year, and his hoops IQ is equally impressive as a playmaker and an effective two-way wing, which can mark multiple positions on the ground.
"Jaylen is a dynamic wing who has great creativity, athleticism and a crafty offensive feel," said Brandon Williams, OTE Chief of Basketball Operations. "He is accepting the challenge of competing with and against his elite teammates day after day and that is what we are doing at OTE."
Earlier this week, OTE announced the signings of Kok Yat, Malik Bowman, Dominick Barlow and Bryson Warren.
That group will join other elite players such as Jalen Lewis, Bryce Griggs, Amen and Ausar Thompson Matt Bewley and Ryan Bewley and Jai Smith.

Each OTE player will earn a six-figure salary, with a guaranteed minimum wage of at least $ 100,000 per year, plus bonuses and equity shares in Overtime.
In addition, players will participate in the income from the use of their name, image and likeness (NIL), through the sale of personalized shirts, trading cards, video games and NFTs.
The new OTE league will start in September.
