Rising floodwaters washed over the banks of Mill Creek during the torrent of rain left by Hurricane Ida, leaving several holes at Hollenback Golf Club submerged under a sprawling new lake Thursday and Friday in Wilkes-Barre. A contractor installed a pump Thursday and added a second pump Friday to speed up the process of siphoning water from holes six, seven and nine back to Mill Creek.
