MINOT, ND โ€” Let me pull back the curtain, for a moment, to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to be a podcaster and political columnist in North Dakota right now, in the political cycle. When the legislative session ends. And election season is still months away. And it's summer time. and friday

It's a bit difficult to book a guest. Which is why, on this episode of Plain Talk, it's just me and my co-host, Chad Oban, talking about politics.

Which is not to say that we don't cover a lot of cool stuff. We move from Congressman Kelly Armstrong and his struggles to follow his consciousness under intense pressure from the far right to Doug Burgum's presidential campaign to cryptocurrency.

The latter may have been off the mark as none of us know much about it, but we do know that it seems to be a less than stable industry right now, and the struggles in a crypto business:
