Just when you thought the sword-slinging fun in AX MKE couldn't get any fiercer, here comes AXEChange MKE, a pop-up concept that brings the excitement of the stock market and gaming cunning to the East Side interactive entertainment bar.
Starting Thursday, January 11, AXEChange MKE will incorporate the rapidly changing ups and downs of the stock market into its drink menu, with prices constantly changing based on supply and demand. Drinks in high demand will increase in price, while drinks in high supply will drop, and the crowd's choices will determine everything. And as with the normal stock market, there is always the possibility of a market crash, but in AXEChange MKE, a crash is something to celebrate as all drink prices will temporarily drop as a result.
Basically, it's a way to turn even AX MKE's bar menu into a game alongside all the sword throwing games, where attendees can play in the market and drink up the rewards.
“Bars & Recreation has never done anything like this before,” Ruth Lawson, chief marketing officer for Bars & Recreation, said in a statement. “We are excited to offer an experience that will pair well with AX MKE ax throwing and the great experiences Bars & Rec always offers.”
