The qBittorrent project aims to provide a Free Software alternative to µtorrent. qBittorrent is an advanced and cross-platform BitTorrent client with a nice user interface, as well as a web user interface for remote control and an integrated search engine. qBittorrent aims to meet the needs of the majority of users by using as little CPU and memory as possible. qBittorrent is a truly open source project and as such anyone can and should contribute to it.

Note: Windows 10+ users can also use the Qt6 version of the installer. Qt6 offers better HiDPI support. The Qt6 version is not tested much. The v4.4.x series will likely be the last to support Qt5 and thus Windows 7 and 8. It will see releases through at least summer 2022.
