NBCU has officially shifted its series "The Real Housewives of New York: Legacy" to an "Ultimate Girls Trip" format that will air on Peacock, featuring former housewives Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Kristen Taekman as its cast.
After a low-rated thirteenth season and an influx of conflict, Variety broke the news that “RHONY” would revamp its format in a two-part strategy. First, Andy Cohen revealed that Bravo focused on rebooting the main show with an all-new cast, and the network would eventually launch a "Legacy" spinoff series that would include the original and former New York Housewives.

One of the most notable actors in "The Real Housewives of New York: Legacy" is Singer, one of the most polarizing housewives in the Bravoverse. During season 13 of “RHONY”, Bravo launched an internal investigation to investigate formal complaints made about Singer by Season 13 housewife Eboni K. Williams and an additional team member.
Singer has been a source of controversy over the years, he seemed to be done with the franchise, which was confirmed by Andy Cohen last year. Nonetheless, Singer has now joined the cast of "Legacy" despite his controversial past.
The announcement of the change to Peacock and the cast of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy" wasn't the only "RHONY" news on Monday. The wait is finally over: Bravo has released the first official look at season 14 of "The Real Housewives of New York City."
Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank and Brynn Whitfield join the cast in a fresh and renewed look at the "RHONY" franchise.
The first official trailer gives audiences a preview of what's to come with the all-new female cast. In true housewife style, the ladies of season 14 will deal with marital problems, lavish trips, and discord with each other.
The cast is visibly more diverse than its previous seasons, something Cohen previously said. Variety that Bravo was looking for in the middle of the reboot. The list of housewives notably omits Lizzy Savetsky, who was originally announced as part of the cast at BravoCon 2022.
